NextDecade
NextDecade is a leading LNG developer committed to providing the world access to more affordable, secure, and cleaner energy. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries Rio Grande LNG and NEXT Carbon Solutions, NextDecade is developing an LNG export facility in Brownsville Texas and exploring a potential carbon capture project at the site which would make it among the lowest carbon sources of LNG globally. To date, the company has raised ~$32bn in project financing for Trains 1-5, with total facility capacity expected to reach up to 60 mtpa across Trains 1-10, which would make NextDecade among the largest LNG facilities globally. First gas is expected in 2027.
